2026 OMELC Fall Meeting

  • All are welcome (and encouraged) to join Ohio Mathematics Education Leadership Council (OMELC) on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky. Light refreshments will be provided. For more information about the event: OhioMELC@gmail.com.

Join Ohio’s Math Leaders on the Wednesday evening before the OCTM conference! The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Ohio Mathematics Education Leadership Council (OMELC) will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky (specific room TBD). The registration fee is $35.

Attendees will learn and reflect with colleagues about critical mathematics education challenges and opportunities, including recent legislation that impacts mathematics educators at all levels; e.g., changes at the state education agency, ongoing implementation of the Ohio Math Plan, and current issues in teacher education/licensure

Light refreshments will be provided.
